Water shoes recommended. Pebbles or rock at the water’s edge: water shoes make it easier to walk into the sea.

What we saw checked on satellite imagery, 05-10-2026

Rows of units on the grounds, with the restaurant and infinity pool on the rocky edge above the sea. The retaining wall stands on a rock face that drops straight into the water. In front lies a reef flat with loose boulders, no sand and no way down.

On Nusa Lembongan, Ombak Bay Lembongan is a resort on the coast. There is no sand in front of the property. The shoreline here is rock and stone, not sand. From the shore in front, the sun sets over the sea from February to April and from August to October; the rest of the year it goes down behind the land.
