Bali Seaside sells nothing and rents nothing. This site measures where a property lies and points you to the party where you can book. What that means for what our data is worth to you is set out below.
What we do
For every property on this site we establish what lies between the grounds and the water, and sort that into three categories: the grounds open onto the sand, there is a path, stairway or road in between, or there is no beach. How that measurement works is set out on the Method page.
What that measurement is worth, and what it is not
A measurement is an observation on a date. Every property states what its verdict rests on. Some have been checked by hand on satellite imagery; for the rest the category follows from the coordinate of the grounds set against the coastline. That is stated per property and we do not pretend it is more.
Bali's coast changes. Sea walls go up, sand washes away, grounds are rebuilt and extended. A measurement from last month can be out of date today. If you find something different on the spot, tell us — we will measure again and correct it.
We make no judgement about swimming safety, currents or tides. The orientation of a stretch of coast says nothing about those. Ask locally.
Who the seller is
If you book through a button on this site, the contract is between you and that booking site or the property itself — not with Bali Seaside. Payment, confirmation, changes, cancellation, refunds and complaints run through them. We have no access to your reservation and cannot change anything about it.
Prices and availability
Prices on this site are a snapshot with the date attached, meant to compare properties with one another. They are not an offer. What you pay is what the party you book with states at the moment you book. We do not show availability, because we do not have it.

The descriptions on this site are written by us. They may not be reproduced without permission, and neither may the photographs we took ourselves.
Most photographs on this site are our own. Where they are not, the image comes from Pexels, Unsplash or Pixabay. Where the place of a photograph matters, we state whether it has been established or only recognised.
What we expect of you
Harvesting the site automatically, reproducing the data in a service of your own, or loading the site so heavily that it slows down for others: no. Sending a correction, suggesting a property, reporting an error: very welcome.
Liability
We do our best to get every seafront entry right and correct errors as soon as we hear of them. We cannot answer for loss arising from a booking you made on the basis of this site. Your rights against the party you book with are unaffected.
