Along this coast, from Buitan to Candidasa, a new promenade and a replenished sand beach are being built (a government coastal project funded by JICA). No official completion date has been announced for this stretch; according to Indonesia's state broadcaster RRI, the project as a whole is expected to run until 2028. Until the work here is finished, the beach cannot be reached in many places and there may be construction noise. Once it is finished, we will check this property's position again.

Bayshore Villas Candidasa is a boutique resort set in large tropical gardens. It consists of three parts: Bayshore Villas, Bayside Bungalows and Bayshore Residences. There are five types of villas and suites. The Poolside Suite has two bedrooms, a kitchenette and its own 25-metre infinity pool. The Panorama Suite on the first floor has three bedrooms, a kitchen and a large balcony. The residences have a fully equipped kitchen. They are either upstairs, with views of the sea and garden, or downstairs, with their own plunge pool. The bungalows are set in the garden and have an open bathroom.
The Terrace Restaurant is next to the pool and serves Western and Indonesian dishes. Children get their own menu. There are several pools. B-Spa has two treatment rooms in a garden with flowing water, offering massages, hot stone massages and rose petal baths, among other treatments. The resort’s own drivers are available day and night, including for day trips. For weddings and parties, the resort can arrange traditional dancers and gamelan players, or a trip on its own boat.
