LOST LINDENBERG in Pekutatan is the fourth project by The Lindenberg. It was designed by two Bali-based architecture firms: Studio Jencquel and Alexis Dornier. The rooms are treehouses on wooden towers, level with the tops of the palm trees. They run on solar power. There are two types of 45 m² suite: the Jungle Panorama Suite and the Ocean Panorama Suite. Both have a 180 cm box-spring bed, air conditioning, a mosquito net and art by contemporary artists.

The restaurant is entirely plant-based. The kitchen combines Balinese home cooking with modern techniques and Western influences. Some of the ingredients are grown at LOST itself. At a seven-metre-long wooden table, guests come together for conversation, drinks and meals. The poolside bar serves classic long drinks. That pool, the Jungle Pool, is a natural swimming pool. Spa Gladak sits on a teak deck above the jungle. The hotel’s own local surf instructors run surf sessions, and there are also yoga classes. Guests can use the hotel’s e-bikes.
