Sun loungers on the hotel's own sand, a sand path with lanterns, then a low rock-armour edge. Beyond it, at low tide, a wide sandy beach with seagrass; at high tide the sea stands against the stones.
Novotel Bali Benoa is in Tanjung Benoa, close to Nusa Dua. According to the hotel, Ngurah Rai airport is about a 20-minute drive away. The hotel has 187 rooms, suites and villas. Jet skiing and parasailing are among the activities offered nearby, and the hotel has its own kayaks.
