Along this coast, from Buitan to Candidasa, a new promenade and a replenished sand beach are being built (a government coastal project funded by JICA). No official completion date has been announced for this stretch; according to Indonesia's state broadcaster RRI, the project as a whole is expected to run until 2028. Until the work here is finished, the beach cannot be reached in many places and there may be construction noise. Once it is finished, we will check this property's position again.

Alam Candi Resort in Candidasa is a small resort set up for couples. It has twelve villas. The room the resort describes measures 33 m². That room has an outdoor bathroom, air conditioning, a safe and a tea and coffee maker.
The in-house restaurant, Dasa By The Sea, is at the water’s edge and works with local ingredients. The menu features fresh fish and seafood, as well as healthy, organic and vegan dishes. The bar serves Balinese coffee, craft beers, local wines and cocktails with herbs, flowers and spices. Room service is available around the clock. The resort also has an outdoor pool. The Jamu Traditions spa treatments range from traditional massages to modern wellness treatments. The concierge arranges tours around Candidasa and Karangasem, including to villages with traditional arts and crafts.
