World Culture Forum 2011 in Bali June 11-16, 2011.

The World Culture Forum 2011 will be held in Bali June 11-16, 2011, at the Hotel Bali Beach Sanur, Bali.
Organized by the provincial government of Bali, the forum aims to explore the unequal distribution of cultural power and the increasing "clash of cultures" occurring around the globe. Concerned that these conflicts may escalate and become self-destructive, the organizers are seeking "new neutral instruments of intercultural collective bargaining" that will achieve a "new paradigm of intercultural relations" with new synergies that will provide a new perspective on cultural identity.
While a final program has yet to be formally announced, distinguished international speakers from Indonesia, South Africa, Thailand, India, Denmark, Australia and the U.S.A. are slated to participate. Stimulating conference presentations will be punctuated by art exhibitions, dance and music programs, and yoga and Balinese cultural presentations.
Indonesia's President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to open The World Culture Forum 2011.

The award-winning Bali International Triathlon returns to Bali for the fifth year on Sunday, June 26, 2011, headquartered on the crescent shaped sands of Jimbaran Bay.
Each years edition of the "race for the soul" have produced growing numbers and the 2011 edition will be no exception with more than 500 international athletes expected to participate in an Olympic distance event, sprint distance and accompanying 5 kilometer fun run.

The Fifth Annual Biznet Bali International Triathlon returns to Jimbaran Bay on Sunday, June 26, 2011, with a record number of international athletes expected to participate on an individual and team basis in the either the Olympic-distance or sprint-distance events.
The winner of numerous awards and dubbed the "triathlon for the soul" – the Biznet Bali International Triathlon is a community-based event in which participants swim in the tropical waters of Jimbaran bay, and run and cycle through Nusa Dua and the roadways of Bali's Ungasan peninsula.
In addition to the right to compete for honors and valuable prizes, each participating triathlete will be provided with the following: high quality race t-shirt; competitor swim cap; ticket to pre-race cocktail and dinner events hosted by Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay; access to an exciting post-race party sponsored by the AYANA Resort and Spa; opportunity to participate in discounted tours and watersports activities throughout Bali; discounted hotel rates for athletes and their families; and specially designed Jenggala Ceramic awards for all top 3 category winners and overall winners.
